    Transfer Failed using Dreamedit / Dreamset

    Using latest Nemesis image, and trying to update the favourites etc. Problem is that I can read from the box, but as soon as I modify and try to write back to the box I get a transfer failed message.
    Anyone else had the same issue?

    Have you got the ip of the box right and the same ip in dreamset edit. I have my box set to dhcp and from time to time it decides to change ip and I have to reset dreamedit and dcc also.

        Is it a generic message or there is some code error?
        Which is the decoder?

          Its a generic message, and the box is a DM800 HD SE

            I have also a DM800.

            If you can read from dec the channel list, this means that the cable is OK and also the IP.

            If some days ago you were able to do this, and now you cannot anymore, i think the problem may be on the permission setting (XRW) in some folder.

            I mean, maybe that some directory has the permission changed unvolontary to only read. So you can read but cannot write.

            You can try to see this, by connecting to the dec using filezilla, then browse the folder and check the XRW setting.

            One more information: my dreamboxedit is the old version 3.0.0.0, on Win7;
            maybe the new one could have some problem. Lets try also the old version.

              Check path to your box satellites.xml,services and bouqets. For instance dreamset 2.36 path to satellites.xml (for DM800) is : etc/tuxbox .

                  Check paths of dreambox files in settings, it should be for enigma 2 if you use it.
                  Change the location of the installed program.
                  Change the location of the saved files as well as loaded files already saved.

                  cheers
