I can't get ip on DM500s

I have a DM500s and yesterday suddenly it lost ip when a lightning hit the house and it burned the power suply of the device . After i change it i can't get any ip . I try everything with no result . Does anyone know what do i have to do ? Thank's in advance .

If the board cannot be repaired, you can try using RS232 to LAN adapter or converter.

It looks like the network card hardware damage ... If possible, bring DM500s to a local service to repair...

Menu->Setup->Expert Setup->Communication Setup

I did it but with no result . I send it today to the expert for fix . Let's hope they do .

What is the point of puting a new IP when the network card is damaged?
It is like trying to switch on a bulb, when you do not have electricity!

BM300 can you also flash a dm500s with a rs232 to lan adapter?

I have not personally tried RS232 to lan adapter to give you a positive answer.
It may/should work.

However, I have tried RS232 to USB (on computers that do not have RS232) and it works nicely.

Some additional information to get RS232 to LAN to work.
On RS232
Pin 3 = Transmit
Pin 2 = Receive
Pin 5 = Grnd

I have repaired 3 receivers with same problem. I have changed this chip - Model ASIX AX88796 LF . After that receivers are working without problems.

toshepernik: what is symptoms of defected ASIX chip? mine have problem with no ip also but LED next to ASIX chip able to light up and my router port wont light up even after change new RJ45 cable/2X Flash with null modem cable/enter manually ip wont solve the problem. please help!
