new DM800SE problem

I recently bought a DM800se clone with SIM 2.1 and my problem is that it freezes for 1-2 minutes and after that it works OK.
I have tried 3 differnet PLi images and 1 NEMESIS (all recent for 2.1 SIM) but the problem still exists.
When the Dreambox freezes CPU is working in 1-2% (i can see that with telnet and top command) and after 2 minutes everything works fine. I also noticed that the problem exists when i have tuned to a channel that cannot be decoded - it seems that when a channel is decoded and playing everything works fine.
The problem is very annoying because i have to wait for two minutes every time. Can i try something else or it is a hardware problem?

This is a problem with the clones not all are manufactured the same, Some slip through the net that are dubious by any means, I have 2 clones both sim 2.1 and luckily do not experience these problems

I have a clone too.
It's installed Gemini Project 2, and i never experienced problem as in your description.
If you can telnet to the dec while "it's freezing", this should mean that the cpu is stil working.
If your dec start to work OK after some minutes, it seems as some process inside it ended his job, or aborted.

Why not try to test a different image? for instance Gemini ?

I use Nemesis-2-3-SVN094-r3-DM800se-ramiMAHER.
Adviced by Satman72 as most stable least demanding on memory.
Deleat Picons for more memory and add a cccam.prio in cccam.cfg

Try Newenigma2. Is very stable and easy to use

You can also try either Domica 9a or PLi.
They are both light and very fast images.

Dreambox freeze is not img problems,freeze is tunner,overheating,cable,lnb,emu,setting chanel.........
