Dreambox noobie

Hi there,

I am new user and i need your help.If this is not the correct place to add this post please the moderators to change category.

I have DB500s clone with Jade3 PLI.
I want to use the DB keys but i do not understand how must i use it.
I have saw that many keys are in softcam. In that case i just copy paste the entire text to SoftCam.Key?
How can i see witch canals will be open?
What must i looking for to understand which is the best?


And now in clines....

I saw the NewCamd5.25 .What is this? what and how must i do?

you probably have installed cccam
the newcam lines you see in free server section
can be added to your cccam.cfg like u shall do with your free cccam line from satlover but it shall first be converted to a n line i shall look
like this
N: <ip> <port> <username> <pass> <des(14byte)>
N: 127.0.0.1 10000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

and you can open the softcam.key with notepad
in it you can see which channels it open

Sorry for asking but i know c line but i do not know n lines.
Is the same way as c line? N: <ip> <port> <username> <pass> but in place of c i add n and the form must be like N: <ip> <port> <username> <pass> <des(14byte)> ??

Am i understood right?

And one more thing. I see in the free server esction all the posts says like User = ko1 --> ko200 . What does it means that?what is the username in that case?

it means you have to keep entering ko1 delete
ko2 delete
to ko200, to get a conect

Sorry but you may say that there are all range beetwin col1 until col200? col1 or col2 or col3 or col 4 etc?

Let's start about Clines.

a Cline is like that:
C: <hostname> <port> <username> <password>

for examble
C: someserver.somedomain 12000 user1 pass1

most free servers give clines with user1, user2, user3..... but the pass remain the same.
when you see ko1 --> ko200
that's mean that 200 clines are active.
C: someserver.somedomain 12000 ko1 pass1
C: someserver.somedomain 12000 ko2 pass1
C: someserver.somedomain 12000 ko3 pass1

C: someserver.somedomain 12000 ko200 pass1

the pass is the same for all lines.


About keys...

You can use cccam 2.2.1 or mgcamd 1.37 (or even the new 1.38)
After sucsesfull installation of then , use a ready file for keys - keybudle
A good examble is minicats key bundle and you can find it in dreambox keys section of our forum.
Use DCC to send key files to right place in your dreambox.

pass word always same
but you have to keep trying different user name until conect.

yes but mgcam need the deskey also
it can and are often this 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
but a serveradmin can change it to what ever he/she like
