DreamBox 800se led blinking

Dear All,

since few months the led screen on 800 se is blinking and i need to restart.

please advise.

Blinking normally means its recording something.

It can mean that or if it's not recording can be a image fault - Do you have a hard drive installed ?

yes, there is a hard disk installed.

if you use webinterface and click on TV icon the led start to flash, but a reboot should kill it anyway

800hd is an original or clone is it? . If a clone just find another suitable image.

It may be possible to disabling the blinking while recording?

No, what sens does it make to disable the blinking while recording?
You can see at one view that your box record something, I think this is a good feature....

I agree that it is right the led blinking while recording.
But I would like the led is off while i'm watching the decoder in streaming ot my PC.

I mean... The TV is busy by family... and I want to see channel sat in streaming from my decoder.

But when I do this, watching in streaming, the led is blinking.

I would like to disabel this blinking for everything except during recording on harddisk.

It this may be possible?

I am not sure: Can you stream another program while one is set on your dream?

Yes,
For example I can see a Channel A, while streaming Channel B to a PC using VLC.
The only condition of course is that channel A and channel B must be in the same MUX. And of course you must also have a fast ethernet between the dec and the PC.

My decoder DM800 has only one tuner, and it is possible to record/view one ore more program (that belong to the same mux) contemporaneally.

You can easly try.
You can select a program with you remote control, then using the web interface you can look in streaming at another program.

I repeat: the two programs must be inside the same mux.
