Installing an image on 800HD

How do i install a new image to my dreambox 800HD clone ? and how do i know that a particular image is compatible with my dreambox being a clone ?

you need the image that matches your sim, so if you have sim 2.xx then you need image for that sim. i think other images can be use but you then have to install bootloader over the top,

to load image,
have image on your computer
connect dreambox to router, connect computer to router, make sure router is dhcp enabled,
next power off dreambox

then press power button on front of dreambox
plug power back in while your still pressing power button
wait till screen on dreambox says stop
them remove you finger from dreambox
wait for db to give you ip address
on computer start web browser
type in ip address of db
then a webinterface starts
follow instructions on web interface

sim version number should be under the dreambox on a sticker.

the sim number appears on the dreambox window after a reboot
