i need to know two things please :

1. is there any software that can be used to control the dreambox from somewhere else not within the LAN at home ?! i need to be able to access the dreambox files such as changing the channel list

2. is there any software to be used to stream from the dreambox outside the LAN at home ?

maybe some answers there :
* open a port to allow remote connection from internet to your LAN
* use a smartphone application

also partnerbox plugin can control other dreambox from another dreambox.

don't forget webinterface can control too, no software required
