scanning issues

hi all, just a quick question, pretty new to this, however in my house a sky digital dish , when i scan with different image, i am missing channels, eg music,
has found movies sport etc, is there a good image that scans well , which i can then export in to another image, used darkstar and openpli atm

any help would be greatful, the signal etc is nearly full on the box?

just add a bouquet and you don't need to scan.

done that but no picture coming through . says service could not be found???

You can use ready list of channels.
If you have connected your pc with dreambox it's very easy.
I use DreamboxEdit - a program that send or receive data (channels+bouckets) and Vhannibal Settings (ready list)

E1 for enigma1 = dm500
E2 for enigma2 = dm800hd, dm500hd, dm8000hd

If you only need uk sky , delete the rest...

I think that you understand nothing...

First, go to section dreambox tools
-http://www.satlover.com/forum/dreambox-tools

find DreamBoxEdit and install to your pc.

Establish a connection between pc-dreambox

download latest settings to your pc (vhannibal or whatever you like)

open settings with DreamBoxEdit

Delete everything that you don't need

save to a folder

send data back to dreambox.

ok deleted everything i dont need a sent files to dreambox, finally say you must reload etc for setting to change, in dream edit there is a button that says reload setting....pressed that and just freezes??

I think tuner might not be configured, Here my Tuner Config Settings below. you should have a similar setting. Setup>Service Searching>Tuner Config

It's no freezed
you have to be patient for 2-3 min
Wait until is finished

what is your receiver? dm500?

zerocool99 are right dbedit sometimes freeze
instead use restart enigma or reboot dreambox
