A normal wifi stick will work on dm800, as long as it is RT73 Chipset or ZD1211B chipset,
its a good looking stick, no point as its gonna hidden back of the box.

i looked a bit about this and from what i read its better to have a wire cable rather than wifi as it will make the connection more stable and better .. what do you think ?

I have 2 dm800 with usb wifi, both stable all time.

ofcourse it will work, its the same principal as on a PC, the speed will decrease the far away it is from the router.
it works in my house and stable connection.

i searched a bit on the net and found something called home plugs .. you plug them in a normal electricity socket and the internet connection travels trough the electricity wires .. it seems more stable and there seems no range restriction as in wifi

Its a shame it doesn't work on dm500hd...

Dreambox should have included a usb port on dm500hd.
