    Too Many Providers in List

I have recently noticed that I have a lot of providers listed under the Provider tab. I believe I only use BSkyB and I have not seen these listed before. I am on the Astra 28.2E and Hotbird 13.0E satelites.

Can I delete some of these redundant providers such as ARABSAT and RAI? When ever I click on a channel belonging to them I get Tuner Failed.

Would these providers have come about after a recent manual scan? Should I delete them or is this a wrong thing to do?

    Any help appreciated.

if you dont use them delete them
Arabsat provider is from 26.0E you picked up a signal probably.
you should check your diseqc settings im guessing you have dm800hd
try changing COMMITTED DISEQC COMMAND to AA for every lnb

I do have a DM800HD. I can not find any option anywhere to delete them.

Im not sure if you can delete providers by remote.
you can use dreamboxedit or dreamset to edit or upload a new channel settings that should solve your problem.
if you are using dbedit use version 4.0.0 or higher

They can be deleted by remote control, but it takes time.
Best is to use an editor like drealbox edit.
But I don't think it's good to remove providers or transponders, as things are constantly moving on satellites.
These moves are not visible (transparent to end users) when using "official" receivers.
The best in your case is to build favorites list, and not used the providers list.
