Dreambox 500HD question

Hi, I am experiencing some difficulties with my dreambox.

I don't know if anybody has posted this problem yet but here it is...

Sometimes when I am switching from one channel in satellite A to one channel in satellite B the the signal fails, the problem is that I have strong signal on both satellites.

If I wait a few seconds sometimes the signal appears, but other times I have to get back to other channel and then try again, which doesn't result all the time.

Why is this happening? Is it a tuner problem or else?

This is not a big problem but it gets really annoying

maybe a faulty LNB?
or monobloc or disecq switch?

that sound like settings problem in tuner set up ....make sure disecq setting are correct....are you using disecq switch or motor.??

it can also be a satellite.xml problem
try to dl a new satellite.xml (just copy/paste) satellite.xml into ******
or dl it trough blue panel i think there are different there

It looks like a problem with DiSEqC switch.

I'm using a DiseqC switch and I suspect that it is the problem because it is a bit old.

I will buy a new one and hope that it solves the problem.

You could try changing the lnb inputs on the disecq switch in case one input is faulty. Like use input C and D.
