    Re: inadyn help needed

    do you have a file /etc/inadyn.conf ?

if not that may be the source of the issue...
    so create an empty /etc/inadyn.conf

and if the conf plugin still doesn't work, just try to edit the file manually

save your self the trouble, this is a common feature built-in most routers, if your router supports it, do it from the router. most router like mines allow multiple host.

          run it manually
there is an option to have a log :
          --log_file path/name

I see you can also add it to the config file..
              add

              log_file /tmp/inadyn.log

btw if you'tr @dyndns.org you can also check it on their site...

                  Re: inadyn help needed

you need to add the line I gave to the file /var/etc/inadyn.conf

that will create a log in /tmp

By the way if you're not to much into command lines and so on, I would advise as Shiplu did to use the dyndns client directly on your router...It will be MUCH easier
