    problems with aac audio

    hi can any one help i have a dreambox 800hd with cccam 2.14 but some channels are useing audio aac not ac3 now my dreambox i can hear ac3 audio but not aac is it posible to hear the aac audio with a plug in or do i need to change cccam

    It seems there are problems with AAC and CCcam...

    could you try :
    * a newer version 2.2.1, even though I think it won't solve it
    * with another Cam

    please keep us informed

      I have CCcam 213 and it can decode both aac and ac3.
      If I was you I would also check your audio settings in setup aswell, experiment with different settings.

        does yours defentiley work as i have 5 cams installed but i use 2.14 if it works with 2.13 i can change

          yep, definitley. which channel is it, I can check if its something wrong with the channel.
          EDIT: I also have 5 cams installed, also Cccam 2.2.1 and that also works aswell and no audio issues.

            Works with 2.14 but does not remember the change once I change channels

              I have the same problem with my dm500hd.

              I have cccam 2.2.1 installed and sometimes i get a strange noisy sound in aac audio channels.

              Normally it gets solved by restarting the box.

                this means the problem is nothing to do with cccam, it may be a design fault with dm500.

                  maybe your image isnt working well. any proccedure any plugin or something like that can interfer with the image, try a clean install of the image
