Maybe you have to configure your dreambox to add some voltage in your LNB ?

Sounds like your running a clone box these do suffer from low signal strengh if you have a very long cable run.

Most clone DM800's suffer from this problem and the only cure is an inline amp you should be able to pick one up cheap of ebay, a 20db one should cost around £6

Look if storms sent your signal down especially if it was pouring rain heavily well thats normal because in heavy downpours the sisgnal goes down considerably BUT if your signal remained the same after the rain stopped (and clouds cleared) then something is wrong with your setup....it could be your cable or rain got in your 'F' Connectors thus wetting the inside of your cable. On the other hand if you always experienced weak signals then you have to check your LNB and also the alignment of your dish and Motor (if you have one)

Normal dish setup don't make use of Booster or amplifiers if you have everything in order.

There may be some Tuner issues, like M rev is better than L rev
          Vu+ Solo2
          Dream Box 800HD,
          Neotion 3000, Skystar2, PTCL IPTV

Kiss_ro is so right ! Antenna type is so important and material who made it. I have one antenna Voltel who is so thin. I have perfect point to point look to Satellite but wind and work time make changes. This Voltel antenna is 90cm and Quality on Hellas is 60-70%, with BulsatCom antenna 80cm good steel Quality is 98% from my position.

Your geographical position is different - the original post was for UK... so don't compare Hellas - it's orbit is pointing in your direction ... ..
