Explain yourself better. I understand your intention is to create a server and share your card(s) with your friends? Is that right?

There is a possibility of viewing of channels through a web interface DM for this purpose enough to come on DM through any browser on IP to the address

I think If you mean to connect to your box from any other location when you are not at home, then the following will do it :

Port forwarding on your Router
Making a port forward address like xx.dyndns.org
Access your DM500 from any webserver on every location.

You can do a little bit ****** to find out how to Port Forward.

You will need only a couple of bits of software and to be honest VLC Player can do it by itself, dreamView is a front end for it and makes life a lot easier (especially changing channels).
You will need a DNS IP and a router and your PC needs to be on all the time to transcode the stream, as well as Port forwarding on your Router.

you would also have to make sure that your required computer/laptop had the software installed as jonny2by4 mentions. and not just using some random hotel computer with pay as you go internet LOL.
