Hi all needing help with cccam prio. I want to set it so it only has sly uk.

Create a blank file in /var/etc called CCcam.prio.
In this file put the following lines:

I: 0960:000000 #SKY UK (28E)
I: 0961:000000 #SKY UK (28E)
P: 0963:000000 #SKY UK (28E)

Thanks bigfoot id managed to create the cccam prio file but hadnt ignored the first two lines.Cheers.

I understand the letter at the beginning of a line indicates a type of identification with the I - ignore P-priority?

Is it important to create a prio list? If so, why?

because some cards can be much faster and performant than other...and the prio can help you to automatize the process

I notice some channels on hotbird take a long time to open. Would a prio file solve this?

I think it depends on several factors: servers, available cards, internet speed ... If you set priorities it can help alleviate the problem, because you can choose what cards/providers it should read. I think is this.
