Settings removal from dm500

How can I remove all sats and channels from the dm500 so that I can start again with new settings, like Vhannibals.

Whats the file as it comes up as containing malware with Avira

just upload your new settings and everything will be replaced
use dbedit or another settings editor

Not quite everything is replaced. I did a scan of one frequency so it put channels as new found. They stay on even with new settings.

yes if u just scan with the settings u have now
but u said u will use vhannibal

I have used vhannibals settings but the frequency I scanned still appears, only 11 channels which appear as new found.

If I use Dreamboxedit and open vhannibal motor 07 giu. Then FTP, do I send files to dreambox or reload settings on dreambox. Also the box remove unused bouquets from dreambox is ticked by default.
Is it not possible to erase channels, sats and bouquets and start again.

yes but i am not sure what enigma dm500 use
but in my dm800 i can go into /etc/enigma2/
and delete everything then u can scan again
u can also do a fabric reset and u loose all channels then u suggest u to get a new satellites.xml from _http://satellites-xml.eu/
with your preferred satellites
and ftp it to /etc/tuxbox/

if u cant reload setings with dreambox edit ftp in var/tuxbox/config/enigma. There are bouquets so u can delete manualy.
