    auto 4/3 format

is it possible to set up self 4/3 format for each channel ?

sometimes you need classic 4/3 (pillarbox) and sometimes pic needs to be stretched (small black rec in the middle).

        Re: auto 4/3 format

for me it is possible. but I have to switch it manually in setup. I'd like to do it for each channel

        e.g. HRT1 uses 4/3 pillarbox but HRT2 uses stretched.

          but why?

It depends on the software because some receivers allows to stretch to 16:9 or 4:3.
          Please push thanks.

yes I think it depens on SW.
HW tuner can generate pic driven by instruction.

Normally depends on your TV settings as well as your box settings. Beware that Auto aspect ratio on a TV will not always give you the correct settings!

Try to establish to itself a plug-in autoresolution there there is an option at which it is possible to choose image formats

Try to configure your TV.If u put to autoaspect ratio the picture change with changing channel to format transmited with that channel. Also u can configure ratio on your box.Check AV settings in System Settings
