DM800HD Clone cost £125 (single tuner)

as you can see its cheaper just to buy 2x dm800.

What is the main difference of these two? (please, no links or ******, I want words from your experience...)

DM8000 has twin tuners, fast processor, more RAM, thats the main difference. DM8000 can manage more media files than dm800.

I believe DM8000 has built in DVD Player, both DM800 and DM8000 have PVR capabilities.

As I said this is a balance between budget/feature/stability.

If you have low budget then go for a DM800 clone.
If high budget go for DM8000 original.

Im using the DM500HD, it's very comfortable , including fan eSata and HDMI. the price is excelent .

I had a DM800HD clone for 6 months till the motherboard died on me when I flashed an image. I had flashed the box with images a few times and this time I did nothing unusual. I replaced the motherboard and then it too died on me 3 months later.
Till then I loved my DM800HD clone with a passion.

Well. At least I thought I did till I bought a Genuine DM800HDse. This box is fantastic. Absolutly everything works on this without problems or issues.
Going from a clone to a DM800HDse is like going from Windows NT to Windows 7.

My advice to anyone with a clone is - Get a Genuine DM800hdse.

Hi dadi,
here it is an experience on the net
please look these images attached.
"Contraffatto" = fake
1) the envelope 7020s with different lable, original numbers under the barcode are small instead 7020-si is in lowercase , il S/N e il MAC are in bold in the clone.

2) Different layout: tuner in is low instead on the original not

3) MAC doesn't fit on the two last numbers,
4) Some clones don't have modem on board

5)Different display less light on clone

6) Range about remote control less than the original.

for me dm 800 hd clone tuner m sim2.01 work great till now and not much expensive like dm800 se clone

i have had a dreambox 800hd Clone for 1 year now and i must say that i have no regrets at all .. if you want something cheaper though the dreambox 500s is good also and the new clones are much better now! the only disadvantage with the 500s was that sometime sit used to get stuck so i had to restart it!
