The "best" dreambox is the DM8000 in terms of features (HD, twin tuners, HDD, DVD support, CI slots etc).

Dreambox 800MD are the best HD receiver in my point of view. they have excellent pictures and very good software support

Agreed out of all the sat receivers made the DM800 still is the far best supported satellite receiver on the market today, Just ashame that the original DM800 is so very expensive

The time of dreambox 8000 wit actual price is gone,i thynk is new model like vu duo or clarck tech who have more memory ram and beter hardware.

I thought about the dreambox 800d but found the openbox s10 for £65, its a bargain and has a lot of features a dreambox has.

For me the best is DM8000 if you want twin tuner DVB-S2. If it's is more expansive the second choise is DM 800 SE, you can find OEM products with the same features at affordable prices that are averaging around $ 250 including shipping costs.

My choice Dreambox 800HD.

DM800 really better DM800SE? I know DM800 is not allowed because the model is already outdated, but the DM8000 is not even looking at what came out in 2008 is still a top model

I use one week db 800hd and I think the quality of the sound pictures speed image is the best ,and also for the price .

DM8000HD Clone cost £400 (twin tuner)

DM800HD Clone cost £125 (single tuner)

as you can see its cheaper just to buy 2x dm800.
