For personal use DM800se, which have the latest 400MHz processor with HDD internal bay & USB connection.
If you can do some electornis by soldering, the DM500HD is good in-terms of money which also have same 400MHz processor. You have to make USB activate ( trick is available on ******ee ) and with a network drive you can make recoring & PVR function. Personally i am using DM500HD & satisfied.

I am using the 8000hd , amazing box , hdd , dvd , wireless , great quality box ,up to 4 tuners, massive in size though compared to the 500 and 800 ,

Of course DM 8000 is best but price is very high. A V+ Duo is similar to Dm 8000 with half price.

I agree with bledi07 - if you have the money and really need 4 tuners then the DM8000, but if 2 tuners is ok for you then the Vu+ Duo is of equal quality for half the price.

DM 500 and 800 HD are more compact on the size, personally for me it is important because 8000 simply wouldn't be located on a regiment
