Hi,
I purchased a Smargo reader on eBay mentioned as "original". After only one week, it was not working anymore (it seems to work, but it doesn't recognize any card). I try to get my money back, but Paypal don't cover fake product.
I discovered that smartreader are copied in China and these copies have the shape of the first reader which are not manufactured anymore.
The real product has the following shape and a sticker:
The fake looks like this:
and it has the following label on the internal ISO reader:
i finally purchase a new one, on eBay also but on a German webstore with the correct picture of the product.
