MonPwr is a simple tool that lets you turn of your laptop or PC monitor with a click of your mouse or by pressing a keyboard hotkey, which can be useful if your laptop does not provide a button to turn off the display. In addition, MonPwr can also be used to turn your monitor off and/or shut down your computer at a designated time each day. Once turned off, your monitor can be automatically reactivated by pressing the space bar or clicking your mouse.
