McAfee AntiVirus Plus is a powerful security suite that protects your computer from viruses, Trojans, rootkits, spyware and other malicious items without slowing down system performance.
The interface in McAfee AntiVirus Plus has been completely redesigned and is totally different to any other antivirus interface you may have seen so far. A clear, uncluttered design makes McAfee AntiVirus Plus easy to use, and also lets you check security status at a glance – though it can be difficult to get used to at first.
When it comes to scanning your system for problems, McAfee AntiVirus Plus offers you three scan types (Quick, Full and Custom), as well as the option of having a permanent real-time scan running in the background or scheduling automatic scans to detect viruses, spyware and other threats.
But McAfee AntiVirus Plus doesn’t work only as an antivirus. It also comes equipped with firewall, web and email protection, a shredder to protect sensitive data, a tool to fix security issues on your local network and another tool to remove junk files from your system and therefore improve performance.
It may take you a while to get used to the atypical interface, but the effort is worth it: McAfee AntiVirus Plus is one of the most feature-rich and efficient antivirus solutions available today.
