    Port Forwarding on Edimax Router

    hey everybody,
    can anybody help me or tell me how to open ports on edmiax router i tried but it was hopeless
    the probleme is in the remote ip what should i put on it (look in the attach)???

    Can you leave the remote IP blank? If you put something in there is usually restricts the port to only work with that IP address.

            yes the router allows to have remote ip black but it was without effect same problem

              If you are trying to open port 12000 to your dreambox, the settings should be
              WAN : ppoe_8_35_0_0
              Select a service : All
              Server IP address : Dreambox IP on LAN (so 192.168.1.XXX)
              External port start : 12000
              External port end : 12000
              Protocol : TCP
              Internal port start : 12000
              Internal port end : 12000
              Remote IP :

              What happens if you do these settings?

                Hey everyone
                i did open a port in my router ( it was a matter of firewall) but when i try some site that check port i always have that port is closed
                should i make something else that open it in the router ???
