You have a virus, it has hijacked your homepage. If you can install combo fix, spybot, mbam, superantispyware blaster, and avg , run in that order and all will be fine.

Just go into your firefox internet settings and change the home page to the home page that you normally connect to.

No it is definitely a virus, although not delivered in the traditional ways , it will reinstall itself if removed, just changing the home page back won't help much without removing other elements, check malware tips or other sites, it is a 5 step removal process!

            hi,

            try this:

            - firefox >preference >general >startup page > ...

clean out your firefox cache (ie temporary recent visited pages local copy, for quick access):

            - firefox >history >clear recent history > ...

If that does not remove it just roll back your pc to a date that you did not have the virus

If you want to delete your home page customizations, this is the way to do it.
At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select Options Select the General panel. In the Startup box, click Restore to Default.
Click OK to close the Options window

check you addons and plug ins too.
if its still an issue, delete firefox and install it again, but change the location of the file, most malware resides on common paths.

Install and run Avast, then choose browser cleanup and remove offending addons.

Norton power errasure is also a decent tool, but is pretty heavy on removal of suspect scripts/applications.

With these things it is also advisable to check these registry entries (start regedit ) for strange programs to be started (especially the RunOnce)

                            HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
                            HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

Load of this kind of browser-hijackers tend to re-apply themselves in this way
