How to setup router on PC with WiFi internet via PCI card?

Hi, my friend bought TP-Link TL-WR741ND and he wants to use it to connect phone and tablet but we couldn't get it to work. Could somebody help us to configure router and PC correctly?
The problem is that PC has wireless internet, grid antenna on the roof and coax cable with rp-sma into the PCI card, and then it connects via pppoe. I don't have much experience with networks and routers but I suppose it can be done with internet connection sharing, or bridging connections somehow to "send internet" into the router.

One question: Can you connect the PC to the router using a cable?

If Yes, this is the first step to configure the router for access internet and the wireless function.

Tell me if you can first connect the router with a cable.

Bye

Yes of course, we tried connecting it on wan and lan ports but no luck. We have access to router's configuration, but we don't know how to set it up properly.
I have at home two computers in lan network and I have used similar equipment (wifi via pca card) for several years and internet connection sharing worked excellent. So I tried ics and configuring the router like my other PC but that didn't work well (connection worked, tablet and phone had internet access but speed was very slow on both units and also on PC).

Hi , you say you can't connect to your router on lan ?

There should be a standard port setting to access your routers settings, this will be on the instructions or even printed on the router.
Type this into any standard browser and the router os should appear. Does windows detect the router. If not it may be dead..

No I didn't say that at all :)
Sorry if it sounds confusing, and sorry for my english... but
I have access to router's OS and configuration, router is brand new there is no problem there.
Just tell me if it's possible to share internet connection from that PC and how

If you can access to router's OS, then in your router menù first goes into section where there are the login password and parameters that your internet provider gave to you.

Then go into section for enabling the DHCP.
Then ... Just for this moment.... disable any protection in the router.
Goes into the client (PC, Tablet) search for your wifi signal and try to connect. Your client should be automatically connected to internet.

If this is OK, then goes into the router again, enable the wpa2 encription protection and enter a password.

Finally return back to the client, reconnect them to your wifi signal enetring the same password you wrote into the router.

This is the theory.

OK thanks, I understand all that. But most important thing, how to configure PC to share that wireless connection through LAN and give router internet access in the first place?

Does anybody understands me? :)
I don't have DSL, I don't have cable, there is no modem... PC has wireless internet, but there is no access point and LAN cable input. There is wifi grid antenna with 15m of coax 75ohm cable and rp-sma connector:

And Ralink RT61 PCI card:

PC connects via dial-up pppoe connection. This is standard equipment that our provider has been selling for many years, and it is still widely used in my area.

Re: How to setup router on PC with WiFi internet via PCI card?

AFAIK you could use your router to get pppoe over wifi only with modded firmware (OpenWrt or DD-wrt).
Then you need a second router to act as Access Point, to give wifi connection to smartphone and tablet.

If you think using your existing pc setup, be sure ics is working fine (using a second pc, for example)
If ics is working ok, just plug ethernet cable to wan port and choose "static ip" for wan connection type.

If I understood right you want to use tplink to connect to internet via wifi and to connect clients to it via wifi too.
Right?
In this case you will need like gianni253 wrote to install openwrt.
Using it you will be able to raise 2 wireless networks, one as WAN, another as LAN. But to do it you must know something about Linux and ip-routing.
Here are some materials on how to install Openwrt on TL-WR741ND (in Russian :) ) _http://habrahabr.ru/post/186760/

No, just clients via router's wifi, but I want to connect router with PC via cable, if possible. If not, then I'll try other (more complicated :)) options like flashing firmware. I would be happy with any option that doesn't require additional hardware, I think one router is enough for this simple task.

Thanks, I wanted to hear that it is possible with ICS. Then, we must made a mistake somewhere, 'cause we tried identical setup that I use at my home but it didn't work. Maybe DHCP wasn't enabled I don't remember, I'll check that next time I visit my friend. This is how we configured WAN:

Thank you guys for now, I'll give it another try and then I'll come back with feedback.

If your router is new it should automatically connect by wired connection,
If it is 2nd hand throw it away it could be password protected. if it is google for full reset for your model.
they are only buttons to buy new, people automatically get a upgrade after so long and never use them.

PS: on the back of the router should be printed the password

No, it's brand new router, it's not password protected.
Now it works, but connection is slow, or sometimes it works well, loading pages is quick and then suddenly stops.
Where could be a problem, dhcp or some other options? I'm total noob at routers.
How should I configure dhcp settings? This is the current setup:
