Good to know that besit. As you rightly point out it only means that there will be no more Security Updates. Some of us on here just need to have a machine with XP for repair tools etc which unfortunately only work properly with that OS. Do not think we will be doing any major Bank Deals or other financial transactions. lol.

I have tried loading windows xp repair disc still no luck so i had to format the hard drive and do a clean install then downloaded all the drivers from acer and all seems to be working fine now
