experts i have a problem with my window7 ultimate i have installed it on my pc but there's a messae showing that your window is not genuine
mean its 30 days trial pack ...so what is the solution now how i use a registered window...

If you bought it in good faith and contact Microsoft they will probably offer to validate it for you at a price ,they will probably also ask you to forward details of where you obtained the copy from.

Are you using legal windons7?
Did you buy them?
If yes.... just contact with the microsoft to solve the problem.

If you have bought a pc with the win 7 preloaded, try to find the secret menu in order to do a factory reset of the installation.
After that your win7 will be activate again.
Also, you can contact with the microsoft or the seller of your pc.

If you are using illegal copy, try searching on the net for how you can activate them.

Not all of them, only 6 are genuine...

It must be a sticker with serial number on the case of your pc.
Even if you don't know how to activate it - you may call M$ and ask for help - they'll tell you what to do

If you don't have a sticker with serial number, either you have to buy a box version of win7 in a store, either kiss M$ goodbye, download new version of UBUNTU, burn cd, install it and become a cool linuxoid.

I think his windows is not genuine and the windos updates detect it and now the pcgiving message to the user that u r windows installed on this pc is not genuine please if the windows is come with u r pc then please contact u r pc dealer

If I understand correctly, you have installed it on you PC, so where did you get the installation CD from, it should have come with a product code.
If you have the code, then go to [U]control panel[/U], click on [U]system[/U], and at the bottom of the page, you should be able to put your product key in and activate your windows

Some times even a genuine cd will come up as a illegal copy some one may be using the same serial number as you if you can prove its a genuine copy contact microsoft

You are right, and it is free. Phone activation will give you a serial code number in order to activate it. I have had the same bug with my laptop and a phone call to microsoft solved my problem.
If you win7 copy is not genuine then look for a solution googling.

And be prepared to put in a lot of numbers with your phone, so maybe better use a phone where you can type those numbers easy (including the #)
Its about 8 blocks of 5 numbers you need to type and the numbers you get in return are also a lot. You will not get a human to speak with but listen to a computer.
Did this with a windows 8.1 activation yesterday because windows told me I used my serial already. (had a reinstall and major hardware-change)

I had a similar problem with a windows server, phoned and activated it. had to restart the server few days later and had same problem. phoned back and was told have to do re-install. god i hate microsoft

I also had a problem with a Windows activation and the phone method works, so long as you have the valid sticker and can prove it they will activate it for you..

See if the problem is that you lack to change the bios battery, the date of the pc, when that happens it does not recognize the activation.

You might misuse this Phone-activation to install it on more than one pc, but in this way M$ can prevent this happens by the thousands, because I would not be surprised the phonenumber is logged and connected to your serialnumber what would mean 1000 activation attempts from 900 different Phone numbers mean locking that specific serial and maybe deactivating it on all 1000 computers using it.

In other words : if you are having this with a legal version there is no problem at all.
