Another thing that can be done on this kind of situation is
you can take the hard disk of your computer, put it on the other computer (hopefully with same hardware), install windows 7 on it, run sysprep (to remove all the uniqueness of the system) re install the disk on your computer, start it, keep your fingers crossed, and hope it works...
