ofcourse i delete some files in other drives ofcourse not windows driver
i think this problem for this delete.
is there any software to fix system restore and windows files?
Try to repair windows with windows disc.
If this don't work, then make a new windows installation.
In all cases make a backup before.

Try this:
1.Press start then run
2.Type in %Windir%\INF
3.Look for SR.INF file (might be just SR. if you use hide ext)
4.Right click SR.INF and then click install
5.If prompted for Windows installation source path point to %Windir%\ServicePackFiles folder

Good Luck

I agree with duhoki completely, even though you maybe able reinstall system
restore you will still be left with the original problem of why you want use
system restore in the first price that is because system restore not working
means no system restore points.
Backup all your important data first and if your system supports it go for
Windows 7, I am saying Windows 7 because Windows XP has only one year
left after which it has no support.

I agree with @mahrkpat

Go for win7.
It's not worth to be with winxp.
Make a backup and go for a newer OS, with support and very very stable.

Re: problem with system restore

If you have win xp installed you can use any similar win xp cd to repair. You may find it hidden on a partition of your hdd, in which case you may be able to boot from that drive,

Assuming it isn't a virus , windows repair is your best option, you won't need a product key.
If you can, download sp2 and sp3 in advance it will speed up the updates you will have to do afterwards,

Hi I don't think it is worth the bother if the system is not 100% save all your important work and load win7.
when you load 7, it will save a folder called windows old you can get any progs from there that you have forgotten to save.

Also it has a very good selection of drivers you may not have to find any and if you do it will direct you to ms .com and find them for you.

Also plenty free versions around that are verified and loaded with all service packs.

Hiren's Boot CD is one powerful bootable CD... It have MANY free tools, you can backup files, check system, boot Mini WinXP and do many things.... Try with it to do what you want to do - from backup data, copy, or some repairs...

in this case the best solution is to save document and settings to recover after the settings, and reinstall after Echo backup data.
In documents and setings was found with all the saved mail, and all configurations distintitos had previously installed programs

Reinstall XP, download it googling. Insert CD and go on.
When an O.S. begins with issues, then the best is save all important files, you can upload to cloud (mega, etc...) and then format your hard disk with a clean and new installation. Before you can make a backup of your drivers with an app like Drivergenius or driverscanner, to reinstall them when windows come back again.
For me XP is the only one I can install because Win 7 doesn't support fine my SkyStar HD2 so XP is very good for me to watch TV Sat.
Best regards.
