True pan, open office is a good alternative to microsoft office. In the company i worked for before, all the employs used openoffice without any problem as you do get word,exel powerpoint etc... And best of all is free:)Comment

MS Office is only paid version. Even students in the MSDNAA have to pay for MS Office. As colleagues have written a good alternative is the Apache Office and LibreOffice.

Using libre office myself, very good alternative and in my eyes faster and less memory consuming than open office. I know there are eaven more alternatives for windows office, search for free office alternatives in google and you can see and test out for yourself, good luckComment
