Microsoft now owns skype so it is good for Microsoft to combine the two
services and there user bases, whether it is good for users only time will tell.

only thing that may go bad are the possible security problems. many users like their privacy so it might cause a problem in the future.

Joseram, i dotn understand which function you are missing from skype. With skype you can do all the msn futures and alot more. Also it is better optimized for use with new generation platform like on tablets and windows 8 os..... So i belive skype will be very good integrated in to the social community.

Before MS acquired Skype comparisons were done between msn and skype,
skype came out on top, the users of skype found it easier to use then msn.
That is why MS buy skype the main features that msn had are part of skype
now and in today's world skype is the better option.

All the main features of MSN are part of Skype. Further more I like the way they are now protecting more the users of Skype.

Where on MSN everybody was just adding everybody, on Skype that culture is way less.. It is a very social tool, but still you want to keep your privacy so you are not adding every1..

              Good move of MS.
