Hi, i like to find a media player for win 7 so i can play my 3d movies. im going to connect the laptop via HDMI to the 3d TV. the problem is that lots of players i found so far can play the 3d image but my TV cannot open the active 3d glasses. some of them have the 3d button but again the tv cannot recognize the movie as 3d. Anyone who tried a media player and work?

Re: best 3d media player for windows
I can suggest: 3d vision video player ---> from Nvidia
I did try it and works perfect.
The only thing is you need a good pc or laptop because the software got high requirements.
Try it :)If I helped you please press thanks button!

Re: best 3d media player for windows
yes i aslo try Nvidia 3d vision video player on my laptop but the problem im having is that the tv refuse to let my glasses turn on. on the lg 3d tv there is a 3d button which let you choose what 3d are you going to watch. you can make 2d to 3d, up-down and left-rigth. when i connect the laptop with the tv no program so far sent the 3d signal so the only option the tv is giving me is 2d to 3d.If my post was useful, please, use "Thanks" buttonComment

Re: best 3d media player for windows
I don't think that is possible.
I think you need a 3d ready laptop to send 3d signals to your tv.
When you haven't got a 3d ready laptop it won't send any signals to your tv.
On my samsung smart tv it's the same.
A button to choose 2d or 3d.
There is also a player called 'Movavi 3d player' or something like that.
There are many people who got problems with that programm but you can give it a try.
Maybe it does what you want :)If I helped you please press thanks button!

As long as the File is in 3D (It will tell you SBS or Top and Bottom) just send the file to the TV. Don't try to play it on your laptop with any media player. The 3D TV will play the file with its own player and it will turn your glasses on.
Or simply copy the file to a Flash Drive and watch it on telly from USB. Everything will be fine.If you like my post, please don't hesitate to click on "Thanks"button. Thank you

Re: best 3d media player for windows
Yf video is side by side or top and bottom then best ideea is to copy your video to an external hard disck or an usb styck and go on directly from tv or instal on laptop power DVD 12 and move player to tv and from there start video side by side and tv will recognize 3DComment

Re: best 3d media player for windows
Hi!
kostis , i recommend you to try PotPlayer a.k.a Daum PotPlayer .It is free, working very good and stable. With this player my tv recognise 3d movies(sbs,top/bottom)Support lot of formats especially *.mkv(most of 3d movies is in this format i think).I using at home configuration like this that you want to make. Pc-hdmi-tv. Also you can correct 3d-subtitles if needed.

My Tv is "LG 42lm3400" ,and it use passive glasses,(my videocard is nvidia geforce 210 ,win7 32bit if it have matter)
but listen kostis ,i think ,the your problem is not because active/passive glasses I'd rather check the setup between your tv and pc.Is your pc detect tv? if it yes - just install appropriate player(try potplayer) and i am sure you will albe to watch 3d movies without any problem. Also install up to date videodrivers.

Re: best 3d media player for windows
in my case having active glasses is a problem cause if i sent a 3d movie from my laptop and its split in 2 my TV cannot see it as a 3d and the 3d buttun is not working (up-down, left-rigth) now if i try to let the pc do the work and sent the 3d ready mix to the TV then the glasses are not turning on.If my post was useful, please, use "Thanks" buttonComment
