I use my Android to control my VLC in my PC mostly play/pause volume+/-. And yes there are apps for that. They even pause playback when I get a call or when I make one.
My pc is connected to the home network via cable while the phone connects via wifi.
The problem is when I'm watching a movie late at night I feel that I may be disturbing my neighbours due to the volume. I live in a flat building. I increase volume so that I can hear the dialogues and decrease when there are things blowing up or there is gunfire in the movie. Me constantly having to increase and decrease the volume kind of ruins movie night.
So, I was wondering if there was a way I could get VLC to stream the audio to my phone so that I can use my headphones instead.
I really don't want to buy cordless headphones or ones that have long cables that run up to my bed.
Thanks in advance.
