Great app. You can solve many bugs with this tools compilation. I know it and works fine, very well.
It works before O.S. charge.
I recommed this app. to all Windows users, because many times avoid formatting the computer and fix the bugs.

I've used Hiren's BootCD many times, very useful cd. So many useful programs on it that can help out in a really sticky situation. A bit like when you can't format a hard drive in windows 7 with FAT32!
