AdThwart prevents many advertisements from appearing on web pages you view with Google Chrome.
AdThwart drastically reduces the number of annoying and invasive ads you see. This makes browsing the web less taxing on both your computer and your sanity. The included filter list, EasyList, is continuously updated by the community and AdThwart uses the latest version. In other words, you can simply install it then forget about it.
This Google Chrome extension attempts to block ads on websites. It includes the EasyList filter list. It also contains code from the AdBlock Plus Mozilla Firefox plugin, though because of limitations in Chrome's extensions interface, AdThwart doesn't do as good a job at blocking things.
