· Interface
· Wave’s interface is minimal, simple and sleek. Nothing unnecessary. It’s interface is completely different from the standard web browser’s . All the necessary items and menus are stacked in the sidebar, so that everything is more accessible and to allow for extra website space. The navigation bar is simple and sleek, for comfortable navigation.
· Tabs
· Wave’s philosophy is all about tabs. In almost every new window and interface, you will see tabs. This allows for easy navigation and great multi-tasking, as you can have multiple tabs and multiple windows of any interface side by side. The tabs themselves are great. To add a new tab, click on the + icon. To remove the tab you are in, simply double-click on it.
· Sherlock
· Sherlock is a feature of Wave which allows for private navigation. By clicking on the lock icon on the sidebar, a new Sherlock window appears. This means that you can easily navigate and surf the web privately, without leaving any trace whatsoever - cookies, history, etc.
· Private Navigation Box
· Located right on the top navigation bar, there is a text box that allows for private navigation with Sherlock. Simply type the url you want to visit privately, and hit enter. A new Sherlock window automatically appears.
· No Webpage Errors
· By checking the “Hide Errors” Check box located on the top navigation bar, annoying website errors and certificate requests are automatically hidden!
· One-Click Searching
· Instead of navigating to a search engine to search for keywords, you can simply type what you are looking for in the navigation box and double click it. The search results of your chosen search engine will appear.
· History
· As in any web browser, you can access your webpage history. To do that, click on the History icon located on the sidebar.
· Bookmarks
· As in any web browser, you can store Bookmarks in Wave. That can be done very easily, by clicking on the Bookmarks icon located on the sidebar. Once the Bookmarks interface has appeared, you can choose to either bookmark the page you are currently viewing, or store any website you choose to.
· Bookmarks Library
· This is where Wave differs from all the other web browsers out there. Wave is equipped with an innovative feature called “Bookmarks Library”. Bookmarks Library is an interface that has categorized links to all major fields of research - many different ( general and specific ) search engines, encyclopedias, dictionaries and translation services, all within your fingertips. That way, research can be performed much more easily, without the need for the user to store bookmarks of online research sites.
