New features:
· imago 1 introduces a powerful registration (mosaicking) method designed for a image set acquired using a motorized stage. When images are collected using a motorized stage, the acquisition software usually produce extra information (e.g. log file) including motorized XY setting and the location information of the individual image. By simply selecting the log file from the local hard drive, imago will import images into album. imago also provides you a preview of a mosaic in both stack and z-projection.
· Mayachitra imago 1 provides you with an interactive cell segmentation method that segregates the background from the foreground, given the information provided by the user in terms of mouse-drawn scribbles. The segmentation result is updated dynamically as a scribble is added or removed. imago computes the properties of individual cells such as area, perimeter, and average intensity.
