iOS 7 to feature flat design similar to Windows metro

iOS 7 soon to be presented on WWDC 2013. All sources confirms that it will feature new approach called flat style design, in some way similar to Windows 8 Metro. Apple reports that it will be still very intuitive and quick to learn and get used to for new and current users.

Apple reportedely reassigned dev from OS X to help iOS 7 be ready on time.

Some concept videos are already available to see, they are not guaranteeing the final look but at least can give a hint of how it may look.

For me updates are only a way to block new jailbreaks..Design changes are nothing new when it comes to Apple software. OS X in particular, has undergone major revamps every few years. That includes a storied history of pinstripes, brushed metal, and glassy windows, which -- at various points in the last few years -- could be seen right next to one another in different apps, in the same major release.

I personally quite like IOS the way it is right now! If it aint broke... dont fix it

I appreciate they need to move on and do something differently though.. particularly compared with latest android stuff.

The big problem though is every release gets slower and slower on old devices forcing an upgrade...

I always had smartphones from the moments this type of phones were introduced. I remember having Nokia 7650, Sony Ericsson P800, P900, then going back to Nokia N90, N95, finally decided to switch to iPhone when they released iPhone 4, which finally had all of the features I desired.

I loved the UI, the simplicity and app store with millions of apps. But after some time it's got somehow old and boring, nothing new same old with every release. I ad to jailbreak device to be able to customise and add new features that Apple refused to add.

I have to say that I bought iPhone 5 but that was a tough decision, and every release gets harder to decide to stay with iPhone, as it's just an "old" same iOS. This is why I'm getting excited to see will it bring new UI and how "new" it'll be. I think if it fails to satisfy my expectations this year I will switch to android and go for something like ****** nexus or S5 as they seem to slowly overtake iPhone. We miss Steve Jobbs and his invention but sometimes it's just the time to leave the ship.

Thatīs the big problem! In our days old devices become obsolete in a little period of time, like the first ipads and iphones. Regards
