    i want to buy a mac mini late 2012 should i take i5 or i7 ?

      depends, Household and office, it's perfect. if you have to emulate and play, No!

          If the money is not a problem the i7 is a better choice because is more powerful. Regards

              If you want to run CPU heavy apps go for i7 it will munch through them easily and will last for your needs longer.

                  Obvius, the most in better, but The i5 consumes less power, and tre performance is not bad, and cost less. So in You don't need power , you raccomanded.
