The end for the Mac Pro?

That lovely metal box may have its days numbered! It is rumoured that Apple maybe looking to discontinue it.

The macbook air is the next generation now, it is unbeliavable design. So compact, so fast, and a ridiculous battery life, if they can get the Macbook pro out of production to focus on mac air sales.

It is possible that fewer people buy mac pro. You can have the same lowest price on Intel (windows) or (hackintosh). I think that Apple should lower the price of their computers to be on the market.

Unless apple develops some kind of reliable HD for the air version, Mac pro will still on market. I think MAC pro will still another copple of years on the market.

They are definitely concentrating on their home user/tablet market.... hope they don't stop doing laptops though! I still love my iMac too!

Mac pro is not the same as macbook pro. The mac pro line is more directed for professionals. I think it will note end.
