kaffeine again

not sure why the previous post was closed so if i am doing something wrong could someone let me know

ok not sure why you are having problems with kaffeine but after i installed it all i had to do was open the terminal and type the word "kaffeine" without the quotation marks and it worked for me
what version of ubuntu are you using

ok. I have just formatted and then installed ubuntu 9.04.
My pc lodges an old hauppauge dvb-s 1.3.
My desire is to try kaffeine+sc+cccam client.

Can you still help me in these steps?

i am still here
i can help you install kaffeine but as for the rest sorry wish i could.
i use ubuntu,
to install goto applications
select software centre
in the search type kaffeine
and install
then open your terminal
type kaffeine
wait for it to install fully
then you can run it from
applications- sound and video- kaffeinne

thats it

sorry i know you want more but i think a ****** search or even individual questions on here will sort that out for you

Hi satterino, i come back in next day i will re-write the tutorial that i wrote before the forum goes-down 3 months ago...
