    You need to set your router for a proper "port forwarding" (aka "virtual server").
    Opening ports is not enough, you must also provide routing information.
    Bye

      I can't understand you my friend

      What is the difference between port forwarding and opening a port ?
      I thought is the same, isn't it?
      He says that ports are working ok, and that's means at least that he made some tests to see if the porst of his router can be seen from others computers on the net.
      I think that the problem is somewhere else.
      I suggest to our friend to check again his settings.

      Best regards

        Port can be forwarding to another computer. You can open a port on the firewall and don't forward it further

          Yes luk4asz, you caught the difference !
          Commercial routers usually tend to bind the two things together, but other routers that are more configurable or closer to the native iptables architectecture leave these options to the user.

          @kalpikos
          if you simply open a port and do not set a forwarding rule, the packet is directed to the router itself.
          This is useful when you want to do remote administration on the router or if the router itself has web server or mail server features.

          Coming to the problem of our friend ... generally speaking, when you have something that works from the internal network but does not work from external internet, there are only two options:
          - routing is wrong
          - daemon (server) does not accept public ip but only the addresses in the private network subnet (typically 192.168.x.x).

            Also i think you have problem with set cam. however i suggest you that use another server(line) and see you can use or not.
