Oscam patched powervu version and cccam - mgcamd lines

I have a question for oscam experts

Can I use the patched version of oscam both for powervu channels and as a normal reader for cccam and mgcamd lines?

Is it possible something to go wrong if I put my cccam or mgcamd line in this patched version?

Hi, for me yes with oscam emu enabled e cccam as card server.For mgcam i don't know.

I also read on the net for a new version of oscam-powervu that can work without Stream Relay but at the moment only on dreamboxes (vu+ not yet)

Just for info, with a little dm500hd work without stream relay and absolutely stable.

Hi kalpikos, I do not understand why the vision without stream relay works on a simple decoder as the DM500 hd while on a gigablue quad you must enable the stream relay. In my opinion the gigablue is much better performance than the DM500, I am beginning to doubt that behind there is the hand of the Dream Multimedia.

The fact that only a dreambox can work fine without the stream relay method, means that the code has been written for dreambox.

I think that It is a matter of days to be relised a new version that will be work ok almost on all E2 boxes.

I'm very close to the case and I'm watching what is going on with powervu encryption.

When a new version of oscam-powervu working ok without stream relay for E2 boxes will come, I will upload it to the forum.
