oscam ymod and cline config?

Hello dear friends

just started experimenting with oscam ymod version t39 for openpli.

so here are a couple of newcomer queries.

1. i use oscam ymod cause i also want to use as emu is it correct that original oscam do not support emu at all?


2.with oscam ymod it works as emu but i can not clear upc and tntsat which have included on latest softcams is it possible to make it ?


3. i try to experiment with cline but it does not work for me.

what is the right syntax for oscam.server on ymod version and should i change something else from default files on etc/tuxbox /config ?

True, oscam is not an emu.

It should work, AFAIK.
Just be sure to use the correct oscam.dvbapi !

i find two oscam.server files with ymod

on /etc/tuxbox/config

and on /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam

i placed your syntax first on one and then on second path but no luck so far.

any idea what am i missing?


Also for emu clearing these packages mentioned what about oscam dvbapi ?

what do you mean correct one ?

i just have the default file so what is the corrrect?

The only way to troubleshoot is to analyze log ... please post oscam log.
Correct oscam.dvbapi is the one with the right providers inside that is not necessarily the default one ... maybe you need a more up to date file

From your log the most important part is missing, i.e. initialization.

it must be valid since i can clear some channels on 13 and 19 east but not tnt and 3 east greek channels

but this is for emu not for server i think right?

Mate, only now I'm realizing you are trying to open upc@0,8 west because you said it's in latest softcams ...
No ! You can't with oscam ymod because only some emus can decode upc (vplug, for instance).
You have to wait for a new version that supports it.

ok that's clear

but what about tnt france the same applies too?

and back on start i still have not made it with line test to work with oscam ymod.

do you have any clue about this with logs provided?

do i still need something to correct?

Yes, same applies to tnt france.
Your config is ok .. maybe a little tune could be needed in oscam.dvapi (which is currently empty).

A little example: if a provider has many CAIDs but only one has to be used for decoding, priority has to be given to the the "working" CAID (just like we do in cccam.prio).
I guess that googling around may help you find some up to date and working example of oscam.dvbapi.

i found a polish site

check and created new dvbapi and services but still the same

maybe i need something else to tweak or what ?
