Hi,

i get sometimes after trying to connect:
connect(fd=23) failed: (errno=103: Software caused connection abort)
or
connect(fd=23) failed: (errno=115: Operation now in progress)

i use a cccam reader to premium c-line

what settings could i improve ?

very often i also get the message
rejected reader peer (850 ms) by cccam (of 1 avail 1)
what does it mean ?

i changed the Version to a newer one
so now the error isnt present anymore

but i got still glitches

Is this Coolstream HD-1 ?

If yes do the followings

Download Mgcamd_Newcs_23.09.2009-Coolstream.zip (see attach)

Extract it.

Copy to /var/bin Mgcamg and NewCS and chmod 755

Copy to /var/keys all files i folder chmod 644

Copy to /var/tuxbox/config the file NewCS chmod 755

Copy to /etc/init.d the files in folder chmod 755

In the folder /var/keys/cccam.list, write IP adress to your server, Port , your user and password.

C: IP_adress port user pass {0:0:3}

In mgcamd.cfg set G {32}

Restart Coolstream and it should work.

Example :

C: 192.168.1.100 12000 coolstream coolstream { 0:0:3 }

You have to use server IP, port, user and pass provided by Satlover

the neo is the version after the HD-1

i have actual mgcamd there with the same config you posted
but there are also glitches
like my post in then mgcamd area where you also answered

i switched to oscam and the same here also glitches

when i ask for some improved parameters i always get the answer to switch the cam

i dont want to switch the cam again

if you can answer my questions pls do so if you cant dont tell me to try another cam

i know there are problems with the premium server lines that are not freeze free and that cant be solved without changing the CS-Server

but i want to make the best of it to have the freezes very short
i would appreciate it if someone can give infos how to do that

Glitches are on all providers or on some of them.

If part of providers work ok then is not a problem from your CAM

Best is to use cccam as long as satlover uses cccam.

If you don't want to change your cam, so be it but you won't solve your problem

Hi if you get this message the server is maybe overloaded you have to restart Oscam in the Webif or in your Box till you have connection.
Its pity that you have problems with premium server-there should be no freezes.
In which Packages you got the most frezees?How are the ECM Times(short or long)
intersant would be whether other premium user have also problems.
Maybe somebody can post his Experience with the premium server.

And also please specify your upload / download speed, it won't matter much, but is very important to be stable, do you have a stable internet connection ?

I have most problems with the s*y HD channels ( i like to watch Discovery HD) and also with the normal

i tried mgcam with cccam and now oscam alone
but oscam gives the best statistics over the webif

with 300 requests i get ca. 15 Timeouts
the average time were about 4000ms yesterday late evening (with oscam 4765)

I tried yesterday after this the newest oscam 8646 but i get there glitches and artifacts in the picture when there are no timouts -> thats strange
but with this version i think the most timeouts wont be displayed

what about the messages

15 timeouts for 300 requests are too much(means you watch about 30 mins. Tv with 15 frezees).Sky De HD Channels needs very fast ECM Times - i think there ist no chance for freezes free SKY DE with 4000ms. average ECMs,you will get freezfree rather with average 500-1000ms.

On Timeout/rejected reader peer Oscam waits for the Next ECM Request.If ECm dont comes, then you get this Messages.

Post pls your oscam.server , oscam.user and oscam.config maybe is anything wrong there.How looks with your oscam.services and oscam.srvid?
However seems that the Guilt is by the Server.

PS:Schade wollte ich mir auch Premium zulegen, aber wenn nicht freezfrei ist lieber nicht.

and then a

found (2443 ms) by cccamremote1 (of 1 avail 1)

the times are very different and what could be the reason for the same channel it cant find the key or rejected reader peer and then the found ?

You need oscam.services and oscam.srvid to define the Caids of the channels which you want to receive.In your Case when you switch to Sky HD channels Oscam send a request to the server to first maybe with the wrong Caids(NDS), and if you dont dont have NDS V13 card in share(and im sure there is not) you will get "rejected caid" or "not found". "Rejected reader peer" means that Oscam send request to the wrong reader,there are oscam.srvid and oscam.services helpful because they define the caids of the channels(for example some providers use caids like 0500 so Oscam send request but there are many Providers with the Caid 0500 and it takes time to find the right reader).

Please post the complete oscam.log with your "rejected reader peer" messages.

I give you my oscam.services , oscam.srvid and.dvbapi - please put them to your keys directory on receiver.

Put the Caids which you want to receive in your oscam.server and user like folow:

so i dont know if you are right to put oscam.services , oscam.srvid and.dvbapi in my keys directory on receiver

i put it to keys but the names from the channels were not resolved
then i copied it to var/tuxbox/config where the other files also are
and now the names of the channels were resolved in the log

first i forgot to set the rights for the files but now it seems to work better
but some HD channels doesnt work all the time
in the log you may see that discovery hd works and after switching the channels sometimes it wont work the same for other channels

i dont know what to edit to get it working
maybe you have a good howto or so ?

Hi,
do you edited the oscam.user and oscam.server as on top from me in red described.
Seems that the Betacrypt(Betatunnel) ist not working.Please add it in the oscam.user -is very important.The Sky Cards in the server are certainly all betacrypted.

Must be looking so in your log:

yes i edited the files in your post and added the files from attachment

i tried also to set
betatunnel = 1833.007a:1702,1833.007b:1702,1833.007c:1702,1833. 007e:1702,1833.007f:1702,1833.0080:1702,1833.0081: 1702,1833.0082:1702,1833.0083:1702,1833.0084:1702

but it doesnt matter if the short (your) or long form (from the streamboardwiki)

sometime it finds the key and sometimes not

can i make sure in the webinterface that oscam finds all config files and has the right things set ?
I'm not 100% sure if the files are all read right and the location where they are placed is ok ?
