active cline not working with oscam

Hi everybody,

Can somebody please help me, my box is a dreambox 800 hd with Gemini 2 image, cccam 2.2.1 and oscam installed and cccam is active, one of my friend ever tested the box with three keys N : server2.cccam.......01 02 03 04 05..... pasted in cccam config and the box was working, was watching channels from eutelsat 16.0 E, now not working any more and he said you need your proper key now and can't reach him anymore.
Now I have an active cline from satlover but when pasted in cccam config not working, do I need further configuration or set up, i'm new in this domain and is reading a lot, Please Help!!

some suggestions: is your internet connection ok? do you get connection to satlover server (with *** cards)? are other fta channels ok?

Your oscam.server file should have your c-line written in it as follows:

label = ServerOne (can be whatever you want)
enable = 1
protocol = cccam
device = cccam.________.com,***** (where * = the port number given)
user = <insert username here>
password = <insert password here>
group = (same as group given to DVBApi in oscam.user)
cccmaxhops = 3
cccreshare = -1
cccwantemu = 0
ccckeepalive = 1

If you're new to this though I would suggest using CCCam until you find your feet. OSCam is quite different from CCCam, it's more customisable, so it can be a bit daunting to set up at first.

Install CCCam 2.3.0 on your box, then simply paste your c-line into your cccam.cfg file.

Maybe the nlines given by your friend need to be updated because they have changed on the server side.
If you are trying to use clines from satlover just copy and paste one of them in your cccam.cfg but keep in mind that free clines cannot guarantee a flawless vision.

you've got a bit mess in it, cccam protocol don't use a deskey (01 02 03....)
it is for newcamd protocol. anyway Cccam is a CAM, cccam is a protocol.

Dear Denisat, I think that you can't understand something,
so, you give us wrong information.
Please, be more specific on what exactly is your problem.

If your problem is the cccam.cfg
you can try to delete all data inside the file and leave only the C-line.
Restart your box and check if you can watch any decrypted channel.

Hi all,
Thanks a lot for all your advices, to be clear, I've ever use a n key pasted in cccam.config to test the box and I've was able to watch nearly everything, but the key was not mine, a friend did that for me and can't reach him anymore.
Now I've a premium c key from satlover but when pasted in cccam.config not working, satlover is not replying to my mail, so can you please help me, ccam 2.2.1 is active, pasted one of the two c line received in cccam.config and nothing, how to know if cccam is really working and if the key is active.
Pan1100, you talked about getting connected with satlover server with *** cards how do can you test this connection please ?

Just to clarify, you should be pasting the line into a file named cccam.cfg not cccam.config as you are saying. If your file is named cccam.config try renaming it cccam.cfg and test again.

First of all is a line and not a key

Did you try to delete all data inside cccam.cfg ?
Use dcc and edit the file.
Delete everything in cccam.cfg and paste the line that you have taken.
Save the file and exit dcc.
Now all should be ok.

You can check the cccam from your computer by putting in a browser
-http://(your dreamboxIP):16001

I can advise to check your emulators and disable all but cccam, often conflict emulators and cline does not work.

Hi all,

Give command "ps" from telnet to check all running processes and if cccam is running ok you should find it among them.
You are a premium member and I can bet that your cline is active

Pasted cline in cccam.cfg and erases everything else, still not working, tried also http://ip:16001 and it says, connected client 0, active client 0.

Yes I can see /usr/bin/cccam_2.2.1 after 'ps' command in telnet but what about http://ip:16001, active client 0, connected client 0.

How to disable other emulators, please.

It's normal on "home" section because your cccam is working as a client ... but if you click on "Servers" or "Shares" or "Providers" tab you should see much more meaningful infos.

First of all run again "ps" and check if other emus are running.
If you can't tell, just report here the command response.

Another tip:
issue the command "netstat" and check connection to satlover's servers. As usual, if you can't tell, report here the command response.

Thanks for your advice, your are right on shares or providers there is a lot of information, but I received channels from eutelsat 16.0 E, Canalsat and Parabole, and can't find these in the providers/shares list.
Do you this is the problem?
Will try netstat this afternoon, many thanks.
