    OScam as Reshare server

    Hi, I'm newbie, so I don't if it's possible.
    Simple, I would to use Oscam as a central server to "reshare" C-line to my 2 decoders that I have in my house.

    First of all I compiled latest oscam version.

    I create a reader in oscam.server and this is working fine in fact from WEBIF I see that it is connected.
    After I create a user with only username and password parameter.
    In oscam.conf at cccam point I've set up a port.

    After on my decoder I insert this line:
    C: server_ip server_port usename password

    but decoder can't connect to my server!! I read connection error!

    ====== EDIT ======

    I've found connection problem. I write wrong port in IPTABLES, so firewall block it

    But I'm not able to use remote server like a local reader.

    Rec with oscam is decoding chanels?read more about your service provider,maybe is not the right combination(oscam+cccam) or your port is not blocked

      Re: OScam as Reshare server

      HI gauloises1, thanks. I'm working on it.
      With combination oscam+oscam it's working using protocols cccam, camd35UDP and camd35TCP, but not newcamd - can connect but send anything. I'm working on it!

      But there are also many connection problems with old oscam (1.10 version and prevously), and with other software like HADU and FLYCCCAM plugin because I'm not able to establish connetion.
      I'm on LAN, and firewall port on local server are correctly opened.

            [newcamd]
            port = 34000@caid:000000

            hope you've got defined that caid number, not just written word caid

              Yes I write a caid in my config but I've changed it in posted config with word caid. Sorry for misunderstanding.

                  Re: OScam as Reshare server

                  Of course, I intend to retransmit data from remote servers to set-top-box, like this:
                  set-top-box -> local server -> remote server.
                  The set-top-boxes ask the data to the local server which asks them to remote servers, the response from the remote server returns to the local server that sends it to the set-top-box that made the request.

                  Now I'm able to use three protocols (cccam, camd35 UDP and camd35 TCP) but not newcamd.

                    there is a difference between local server and local reader

                      Can you help me with newcamd configuration?
                      Also oscam to oscam with newcamd protocol is not working.
