    hi vanbasten

    right: cline for several packages, nline for one ; a nline doesn't nesessary come from a cline.

      No, this means it's comming from a newcamd server.
      Newcamd has a bit different line handling, but cccam can "translate" this handling to it's own and can connect to newcamd servers.

      That's one of the argument for using cccam as client.

        Direct conversion nline to cline does not exist, there is no such Converter, and emulator cccam can work with nline.

          what about the processor usage. i mean like in laptops if you run programs like matlab they will use most of your ram. if that is the case with cline and nlines as well, maybe it is better to use 5 -6 nlines instead of 1-2 clines and this wont cause much freezing due to overload of the processor

            No, this won't help, because cccam uses the servers serial, not parallel.
            This means cccam sends an ecm to a server and waits for answer. If this server doesn't answer in 1 or 2 seconds, it changes to another caid (in simulcrypt) or changes the server to a new one (another cline). But this costs a bit time so that you will have freezes.

              from what i know n lines = 1 hop... whereas c lines could be from a cccam however from several different hops.

                Both N-lines and C-lines can be from diferent hop.
                In a N-line you can't see the hop, but in a C-lines you can, as well as you can select from what hop you want to receive e.g. { 0:0:3 }, { 0:0:2 }, { 0:0:1 }
